- Begonia 'Whirling Sky' No. 759-Begonia (chance seedling) 'Whirling Sky' Rhizomatous with distinctive foliage. Lobed leaves are medium green with chocolate brown spots, 4" x 4 ½”, with a smooth surface, 9 veins, and light green petioles and stipules. The leaves are distinguished by their color pattern and deep lobes. Originated in 1978 by Leslie Woodriff (address above), it has not bloomed to date; first distributed in 1979. Registered Sept. 8, 1979.
