Synonyms and Comments: B. integerrima Tebbitt, Begonias 5:158. 2005. has been wrongly identified as B. solanathera A. de Candolle in general use. Both are very similar plants but B. solanthera has dense hairs on its peduncles and main veins of the lower leaf surfaces whereas there are none on B. integerrima.
