Description
No. 257 - Begonia (olsoniae x 'Jill Adair') 'Quakertown' - B. 'Quakertown' is a shrub-like plant, originated by Phyllis C. Ferguson, 10722 Wiatt Way, La Habra, Calif., in 1967. It first bloomed in 1968 and in appearance and growth it is similar to Jill Adair. A heavy bloomer, it has white flowers May through August. The leaves are green, rotund, 6- 7" x 5- 5½", margin finely toothed, thick texture, veins depressed, petioles fimbriated scales, white, 4”; stipules are ovate acute. Registered May 15, 1969.
