- No. 432 - Begonia (B. manicata aureo-maculata var. crispa x B. 'Zip') 'Nagare' Developed in 1970, first bloomed in 1971 and was first distributed and published in 1972, publication unknown, by Hiroshi Shigemi, address above. A rhizomatous plant, the leaves are emerald green with red veins, round, 3" x 2½", margin crested, texture glossy, thick, nerves seven to nine, petioles 2½", with upright stipules. Flowers in early spring, clear pink, on 18" flower stem. Registered Jan. 6, 1975.
