- No. 554 - Begonia (B. conchifolia 'Zip' X B. 'Cleopatra') 'Lewis’s Zip' Originated in 1973 by Glen Lewis for Plant Shop's Botanical Gardens (address above) this rhizomatous plant was first distributed in 1976. The heart-shaped leaves are dark brown with a prominent green vein, a pink dot, and are red-backed; 2 ½ x 3"; margin slightly serrated; texture smooth; 9-nerved; petioles 6-8" long. Registered September 3, 1976.
