- No. 253. Begonia ('Black Polly' x goegoensis) 'Cocoroon' - B. 'Cocoroon', a rhizomatous Begonia, is textured like B. masoniana, an ancestor through 'Black Polly' but is said to be sturdier and chocolate colored with no markings. Of plain shape and margin, the leaf is 5" x 8". Flowers are light and. dark pink with yellow stamens ¾" to 1 ", semi-double, clustered on long stem above foliage, blooming in summer, fall and winter. Originator is Mrs. Harry Arndt, 20454 N.E. Sandy Blvd., Troutdale, Oregon 97060, available through Arndt's Floral Gardens. Developed 1966; bloomed and distributed 1968. Registered December 5, 1968.
