Plant
- Description
- Die Gartenwelt, Jahr 2, 1897 B. bertini: (see picture on the title page). Among the blooming begonias which have been on the market in recent years, B. Bertini occupies a prominent position because of its compact growth, its beautiful foliage, and its abundance of flowers. It can be generally recommended as an excellent group and specimen plant. Their growth is half-height, their foliage dainty and their flowers are gloriously bright red. It thrives outdoors even in full sun and blossoms tirelessly. - Heinrich Henkel, Darmstadt.
