- Habitat
- Terrestrial on gentle to very steep slopes and banks, generally in the vicinity of streams, in shaded or deeply shaded sites in high primary or sometimes recently exploited forest, and in hydrophilous coastal evergreen Guineo- Congolian rain forest (foret biafreenne); locally common; at 50-600 m altitude.
