Comments
Considered a cold hardy begonia as per John Boggan and his experience in his Washington DC garden. Unsuccessful with it through North Western Sydney summers. RB. Begonia grandis, self seeds in hardiness zone 7b, Atlanta, Georgia and acts like a perennial in both pots and in the ground. Over time/years, will slowly multiply. B. Grandis has the most beautiful large leaves red coloring underneath. I make a tea from fresh leaves. Anon.
