Morrison The following descriptions are recorded from observation notes made of the living collection during 1951-1952: Forty-Niner. Medium sized leaves, nice spiral curl. all conspicuous for the lustrous metallic quality of surfaces. Dense habit. Center dark-green small, almost starry, most of surfaces silver that extend in star like points to the dark brownish-green border. On new leaves there is a pinkish-lavender flush over silver.
